かつぢは晩年（昭和４６年）静岡県の中伊豆にアトリエ『稚筍房』を建てて移り住み。 竹細工の玩具やお人形を次々と考案し地元の農家の人たちに郷土の土産として制作する事をすすめました。その一連の活動が認められ静岡県から表彰されました。『松本かつぢの世界』より 『萬次郎萬三郎』近くの山の名前から、、 天狗の面 おさるのペン立て トーテムポールのペンダント
