To celebrate the 120th anniversary of Katsuji’s birth, the “Matsumoto Katsuji Exhibition” will be held at Morishita Cultural Center from November 30th (Saturday) to December 22nd (Sunday) 2025 .
This exhibition also celebrates the completion of the reprint of “Mysterious Clover,” a long-running manga story drawn by Katsuji in 1934!
This will be the first publication by Gakudosha Publishing.
On December 1st there will be a fun workshop taught by students from Gakudosha, where you can learn how to draw manga and Kurumi-chan!
On December 8th there will be a panel titled “Talking about Katsuji” with the following speakers:
– Murakami Motoka (manga artist),
– Tamura Setsuko (Katsuji’s student)
– Utsuhara Michie (Katsuji’s third daughter)
Moderated bz Kawaguchi Takahiro (Gakudosha/Associate Professor at Takarazuka University).
